Our Apex Staff

Donald E. Beebe, DVM, DAVDC

Dr. Don Beebe fulfilled a lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian when he graduated from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. During 11 years in general practice he developed a genuine passion for dentistry. In 2004, Dr. Beebe left general practice to pursue a three-year specialty residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his residency, he acquired expertise in a wide range of advanced dental and oral surgical techniques. He also gained proficiency in teaching students, veterinarians, technicians, and the general public about veterinary dentistry. Following completion of his residency, he sat for and successfully passed the three-day national board certification examination, earning the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College.

Dr. Beebe returned to his childhood stomping grounds and founded Apex Dog and Cat Dentistry in 2007. His goal is to combine his clinical dental expertise with his compassionate bedside manner in order to improve the quality of life of pets with dental diseases in Colorado.

Dr. Beebe is very active in the veterinary community, and teaches at the local and national level. He provides continuing education programs for veterinarians and technicians who are interested in developing and maintaining their techniques and skills in dentistry. Dr. Beebe holds an appointment on the American Veterinary Dental College examination committee, and is a member of numerous veterinary organizations including the Colorado Veterinary Medical Association. His special interests include periodontal surgery, endodontics, and maxillofacial fracture repair.

Don and his wife have two sons, Colson and Chase, a daughter named Autumn, a rambunctious Labrador retriever named Breck, and a wily Border Collie mix named Bur. They all enjoy hiking and camping on the weekends.
