Donald E. Beebe, DVM, Diplomate AVDC

Dr. Don Beebe is a 1993 graduate of the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. During his first ten years in general practice he developed a genuine passion for dentistry. In 2003, Dr. Beebe left general practice to pursue a three-year specialty residency in Dentistry and Oral Surgery at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. During his residency, he acquired expertise in a wide range of advanced dental and oral surgical techniques. He also gained proficiency in teaching students, veterinarians, technicians, and the general public about veterinary dentistry. Following completion of his residency, he sat for and successfully passed the three-day national board certification examination, earning the prestigious title of Diplomate of the American Veterinary Dental College.

Dr. Beebe returned to his childhood stomping grounds and founded Apex Dog and Cat Dentistry in 2007. His goal is to combine his clinical dental expertise with his compassionate bedside manner in order to improve the quality of life of pets with dental diseases in Colorado.

Dr. Beebe is very active in the veterinary community, and teaches at the local and national level. He provides continuing education programs for veterinarians and technicians who are interested in developing and maintaining their techniques and skills in dentistry. Dr. Beebe holds appointments on multiple American Veterinary Dental College committees, and is a member of numerous veterinary organizations including the Foundation for Veterinary Dentistry, American Veterinary Medical Association, and Colorado Veterinary Medical Association. His special interests include periodontal surgery, endodontics, and maxillofacial fracture repair. Don and his wife have four children, a Labrador retriever and a friendly Border Collie who comes to work with Dr. Beebe most days. They all enjoy hiking and camping on the weekends.

 

Lauren Richman, DVM, Resident in Veterinary Dentistry

Dr. Richman is a Denver area native.  She attended the University of Denver for her undergraduate degree and obtained her veterinary degree in 2008 from St. George's University, School of Veterinary Medicine, in Grenada, West Indies.  She completed a 1-year internship at Wheat Ridge Animal Hospital followed by 3 years as an emergency clinician in Santa Fe, New Mexico and 8 years in general practice back in Colorado before joining Apex in 2021 to pursue a 3 year dental residency program through the American Veterinary Dental College.  Over the last decade she has developed an intense passion for dentistry and the impact the mouth can have on quality of life for our pets.   

 

Outside of work, Dr. Richman loves spending time with her husband and son, and their dog Fennel. They love to travel, road bike, ski, and spend time exploring the outdoors. 

 

Brittany, CVT, Practice Lead

Originally from Lincoln, NE, Brittany moved to Colorado in 2011 to pursue her passion for animals and attended school at The Bel Rea Institute of Veterinary Technology. Brittany started her career in general practice where she discovered her great appreciation for veterinary dentistry and anesthesia. As practice lead, Brittany strives to provide specialized patient care and excellent customer service. In her free time, you will find her tending to her numerous plants at home and enjoying everything Colorado has to offers - from seeing live music with her husband to hiking with her Samoyed/Husky, Bindi.

 

Nicole, CVT


Nicole is a Colorado Native and graduated from Bel Rea in 2007. She loves interacting with clients and their animals and being able to work with a team that practices high quality medicine. When not at work, she spends her free time hanging out with her husband and cats, cross stitching, and listening to music.
 

Holly, CVT

We are lucky to have Holly on our team! She brings a great enthusiasm to learn and is always striving to keep our patients comfortable and safe. Holly graduated from Community College of Denver in 2012 and also holds two Bachelor of Science degrees. One of Holly's passions when not with us at Apex is to commit herself to non-profit work. She makes monthly trips to the Four Corners area to volunteer on spay/neuter teams. 
 


Chelsea, CVT

Chelsea graduated Bel-Rea Institute in 2012 and has a passion for animal behavior and dentistry. She strives to make the patient’s experience as stress free as possible so they enjoy coming in for their appointments. In her spare time she likes to volunteer, hike with her heinz 57 Kato, and take care of her elderly cat Tiger.

Donna, Technician

Donna comes to us with extensive experience in both animal care and management. She is an important part of the team because she is always available to lend an ear and spend time helping clients with their four-legged friends. When not at Apex, Donna is likely spending time caring for her numerous animals at her little "farm" including horses, mules, goats, dogs, cats, and chickens. 

 

Mandy, Client Services  

Mandy has been working in the veterinary field for 12 years and continues to have a passion for animals. Her other passion is flowers - she owns a wedding and event floral business that occupy her on most weekends. She loves spending time with her family of 2 dogs, 1 cat, a very tall husband and smiley son, Jude.

 

Erin, CVT  

With a strong passion for animal rescue and rehabilitation, Erin has worked with over 4 rescues and fostered and rehabilitated over 40 animals in her home. Her passions in the field are anesthesia and dentistry. During her free time you can find her practicing yoga with her 2 cats at home or out exploring the world with her pup.

 

Britta, CVT

Britta was born in Germany and followed her dream of moving to colorado in 2011. She always loved animals and perused a career in veterinary medicine. Britta graduated from Bel-Rea institute of animal technology in 2014. Most of her career she was working in Emergency and Critical care. But she always had an interest for dentistry and decided to move from Emergency into dental specialty.

In her free time Britta likes to take her dog Harvey to the mountains. She also likes to travel and to escape the city.
